Sarah Roughsedge
Job Title:
Chartered Financial Planner and Founder of Eva Wealth (also Mum of 3, wife, sister, daughter, trustee, mentor!)
I am currently becoming a Certified Financial Coach as my ambition is to further financial equality for women.
Why create Eva Wealth Management for Women?
The gender gap is receiving more and more awareness, but it still remains a problem. In particular, women have been underrepresented in financial services and in turn, this has created a gap where many women have not felt comfortable seeking a financial adviser. My goal for Eva Wealth Management for Women is to ensure women are better served in this way. I want to create a space where women feel totally comfortable and at ease so they don’t feel any question or uncertainty is stupid or wrong, where their opinions and questions are valued and where, through building relationships, they are empowered to become better versions of themselves, finding confidence and freedom and ultimately enabling them to lead more fulfilling lives.
Why I love my job:
Often when clients first get in touch, they are lacking confidence in their financial and decision – making abilities. Once we begin working together as partners, I watch their confidence grow as they become empowered with their new knowledge. This is my favourite part of what I do. I never forget what a privilege it is to go on this journey with them.
Fact about me: I originally trained as a neuroscientist and in my free time took to the skies to obtain my pilot’s licence. Sadly this was some time ago now, so I can’t offer any private charters to client meetings 😉
Things that make happy: DIY, gardening, beekeeping, re-upholstering furniture and relaxing at the end of all of those things with a G&T.

Financial Planner
I support our clients to work towards their goals and financial aspirations. As a financial planner I walk with them, as a trusted sounding board ensuring they make informed choices for their financial future. I have been lucky to work in a variety of sectors, from recruitment to social care, gaining experiences and skills that make me who I am today. The common theme in all my roles has been working with and supporting people. The favourite part of my job is … people, people, people. Uncovering their goals and dreams and in a small way supporting them on their journey to achieve them.
Outside of work you will find me on the sidelines of a football pitch watching my boys play or driving them to a bike park and holding my breath as they undertake “extreme” mountain biking! I often get the job of pushing the bikes back to the top of the hill.

Client Support
My role is to help to drive annual reviews, application processes and paperwork, the chasing of providers, as well as ensuring that our clients receive regular updates and getting meeting notes ready for advisers.
My favourite part of the job is being involved at every stage of the client support process, from the first phone call or meeting to regular reviews.
Outside of work you will find me walking my dog, and spending time with family and friends

Client Support
My client support role works closely with the paraplanners and advisors, prepping the admin for meetings and annual reviews. From chasing the providers of policies to get information and drive our processes along whilst liaising with our clients, trying to make the process as smooth, seamless, and timely as possible.
My favourite part of my role is meeting our clients and supporting them with our processes. It’s a real joy getting to know our clients.
Outside of work you will fine me spending time with my husband Kirk and 3 daughters, often playing taxi-driver to their club and social lives!
